Welcome to The Outsiders
The Outsiders is built around the modern marketing concept of world-building.
Marketing is evolving, and we are building a new space for brands to connect in a meaningful way — a way that benefits everyone in the ecosystem, and gives as much as it takes.
Through our flagship Content Residencies, we bring athletes, filmmakers and brand partners together in adventure destinations for epic experiences, with world-class filmmakers and photographers capturing the adventure as it unfolds in real time.
The brief? Have an epic time, and share it as it unfolds. That is it. When everyone is having an epic time, the content hits.
With athletes, brands and partners posting and resharing daily across a two-week trip, this drives cross-pollination between aligned audiences and significant reach across today’s performance-led algorithms. Each residency brings together a combined average audience of 3M+ followers, totalling 30M+ across our first global series.
Our pilot Content Residencies were epic. Check them out here. Our SNOW pilot had Finn Bilous, Ben Richards and a whole crew of legends riding Snowmotos in the backcountry, landing helis on glaciers, and enjoying locally foraged fire cooking with world-class chef Dane Archer. Our TRAIL pilot saw Casey Brown and Conor Macfarlane helibiking in the backcountry, Robin Goomes whipping around the South Island in a Defender, and world champion Ironman Braden Currie on a sunset mountain mission chasing golden light on a ridge line on a private mountain with insane views — followed by sauna and cold plunge recovery.

Each residency is structured with:
2 global, established athletes
2 up-and-coming global athletes
Local athletes connected to the destination
This drives organic energy, authentic content, and outcomes beyond the project itself — across relationships, knowledge sharing, sponsorship and future opportunities.
Each residency is supported by a global-level film and photography crew. Premium content is captured daily in the field, with edits turned out across the two-week arc.

Week one
Welcome dinner
Two high-energy tourism experiences
Recovery and wellness woven throughout (sauna and cold plunge where available)
Group dinners, downtime, free time and social flow
Week two — locals week (optional participation)
Opportunity to access crew for personal filming (availability dependent and shared across athletes)
Option to engage crew for sponsor-led shoots or collaborate with others
Local athletes and creatives woven into the week for filming and good times
Only week one is required. You’re welcome to continue through week two, or leave earlier if needed.

Athletes selected into the residency are fully supported:
Cash participation fee
$2,000 USD (established athletes, 50K+ following)
$1,000 USD (up-and-coming athletes)
Flights (booked by The Outsiders)
Accommodation (1–2 weeks)
Daily dinners provided
Airwallex digital Visa card
$100 per day (in local currency)
Used for breakfast, lunch, coffee and personal spend
Any unused balance is yours to keep at the end of the trip
$150 Uber credit for airport transfers

Collaboration on Outsiders Instagram grid posts when featured (we do 9 grid posts across the two weeks, 3 collaboration posts are required)
Story tagging of partners as the trip unfolds (a checklist will be provided)

No scripts. No forced moments.
Partners are integrated based on how we already travel — so content feels natural, not transactional.
You work hard to curate your content and social media brand that supports your personal brand. We respect that — we are not here to make anything feel promotional.
